01. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the LagSync browser extension, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension immediately.

02. Software License & Anti-Piracy

LagSync grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use our synchronization engine.

  • You may not modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the extension files.
  • Sharing "Plus" credentials or using scripts to bypass license checks is strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to revoke access to any user found distributing "cracked" or modified versions of LagSync.

03. The "Plus" Tier & Legacy Rights

LagSync may introduce a "Plus" tier for advanced features.

  • Grandfathering: Users who installed LagSync before the launch of the Plus tier are identified as "Legacy Users." These users will receive lifetime access to current Plus features for free as a gratitude for early adoption.
  • Verification: Legacy status is verified via local installation timestamps and/or anonymous device identifiers. Attempting to spoof these identifiers is a violation of these terms.

04. Limitation of Liability

LagSync is a tool that interacts with third-party media players (YouTube, Netflix, etc.). We are not responsible for:

  • Changes in third-party websites that cause the extension to temporarily stop working.
  • Any browser crashes or performance issues related to hardware-accelerated video decoding.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS".

05. Third-Party Services & Affiliation

LagSync is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Google LLC, YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, or any other third-party streaming service mentioned on this site or within the extension.

All product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders. Use of them does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.

06. Right to Modify Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that LagSync shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
